Once you have saved your selections, the IFD (unit) title and Student Expectations (SEs) aligned to each IFD will be listed. Here, you can customize your selections further by selecting only those Student Expectations you wish to include on the YAG/YCT. All SEs are selected by default. Uncheck any SEs that should not be included.

The Suggested Duration will also be displayed for each selected IFD. The unit of time for the duration (days and/or minutes) is based on your previous Unit of Time selection near the top of the page. If you wish to modify the duration for a particular IFD, enter the desired number into the Custom Duration field.

One reason for customizing the duration of the IFD is for instances when an IFD will be split between more than one 6 or 9-week period. Some of the days for a unit can be allocated to a particular 6 or 9-week period, while the remainder of the days can be designated for the next 6 or 9-week period.

After adding the desired IFDs (units) for the 6 or 9-week period, they can be reordered by clicking on the IFD title bar and dragging it to the desired position. Alternatively, click the Move Up or Move Down button to shift the unit up or down a single position. Click the Remove button if you wish to delete the unit alignment entirely.

Click to expand each of the remaining 6 or 9-week periods and repeat the steps above.

The Total Days (or Minutes) section near the bottom of the page displays the ongoing totals for the first semester, second semester, and entire school year. If desired, you may return to any 6 or 9-week period to make the necessary adjustments to update the balance(s).

Click the Preview YAG button at the top of the page (or in the pinned menu bar) to see a preview of what the document will look like (including the units and Student Expectations). Both the IFDs and SEs link back to the respective content.
