If you belong to a district that is interested in gaining access to Texas Curriculum Resources (TCR), please contact your Education Service Center directly. The following information pertains to Education Service Centers (ESCs) only.
Please review the following instructions regarding requesting district access to TCR. Once a district receives TCR access, one of its District Content Admins will need to manually turn on TCR. This can be done for the entire district, certain campuses, specific grade levels/courses, or particular users. Please see the related support guide section titled Turning TCR On - System Management (Admins Only).
1.) First, be sure the required NDA is complete and any necessary contracts are signed prior to requesting TCR access for a district.
2.) Please contact Wendi Russell (TCMPC Director) to place your request and use the spreadsheet she has shared with you. Please specify which scenario applies to your request.
- Under the TEKS RS column, designate if the district currently has a TEKS Resource System subscription or not
- If the district is only subscribing to TCR, please indicate in the Assessment Center column if the district would like access to the Assessment Center add-on (limited to Mathematics/Matemáticas items only)
3.) If the district is new and will be a TCR-only subscriber, please also submit a typical District Change Request to provide the details surrounding the campuses and district/campus admins. District and campus names must match the Texas Education Agency (TEA) records. Visit the following TEA school district database website for reference: Texas Education Agency AskTED Site.
4.) Once a new TCR-only district has been created, it is up to the District User Admin(s) and/or Campus User Admins to create/upload the remainder of its new accounts within the Account Administration section of the site. If the admins need guidance with this process, they are welcome to contact the TEKS RS Tech Support Help Desk at techsupport@teksresourcesystem.net or 1-800-544-3483.
- User accounts are shared between TEKS RS and TCR, so an existing TEKS RS district will not need to create any new accounts after gaining access to TCR
5.) If there are any special circumstances, such as a district that only has a single campus subscribing to TCR, please contact Justin Simet and Wendi Russell.
6.) Once a district receives TCR access, a District Content Admin at the district will need to manually turn on TCR. This can be done for the entire district, certain campuses, specific grade levels/courses, or for particular users. Please see the related support guide section titled Turning TCR On (Admins Only).
