Texas Curriculum Resource (TCR) components are found on the Search All Components page, provided the district’s access settings have been properly adjusted.
If a district has access to both TEKS Resource System and TCR, users will be able to search for either TEKS RS components or TCR components. These two are mutually exclusive, so only one set of materials or the other can be viewed. If a district has access to just TCR, those will be the only available materials.
If a message appears when attempting to view a document that states the user has insufficient permissions, the user will need to contact the District Content Admin regarding the district’s access settings.

VIDEO TUTORIAL: Search/Locate TCR Components (see related Search All Components video for locating TEKS RS components)
Click on the Components drop-down in the site’s main navigation menu and select the Search All Components option.
Alternatively, click on the Search button in the bottom right corner of the blue Texas Curriculum Resources (TCR) section on the TCR homepage view.
Begin the search process by using the Search Type toggle filter to determine which results you desire.
If you only have access to TCR, this option will already be selected for you. This selection will allow you to view TCR Instructional Focus Documents, Year at a Glance Documents, TEKS Verification Documents, Vertical Alignment Documents, and Resources.
If you have access to both TRS and TCR, select the Texas Curriculum Resources option.
Next, use the provided search filter drop-down menus to select a Grade Level, Subject Area, Course (if applicable), and Version (if applicable). If desired, you may select more than one Grade Level or Course in each of these drop-down menus.
Use the additional, optional search filters if you wish to further narrow your results.
For the Units/Modules filter, select the specific module(s) associated with the desired components. If you wish to search all applicable modules, do not make any selections. The module options that are present are those applicable to your previously selected search criteria.
For Standards, click the bar to open the filter and select the specific standard(s) associated with the desired components. If you wish to search all applicable standards, do not make any selections. The standard options that are present are those applicable to your previously selected search criteria.
There may be multiple pages of standards, which can be viewed using the page number buttons.
You may use the additional Component Type filter to select the specific component type(s) that you would like to find. Click the drop-down menu to make your selections. If you wish to search all component types, do not make any selections. Note that some component types are not applicable for TCR.
There is also an optional Keyword search field provided, allowing you to search by a certain word or phrase specific to a component/item, its title, or a standard contained within it.
Once you have selected all your desired search criteria, click the Search button to perform the search. Click the Reset button if you wish to clear the selected filters and flush the current results.
There may be multiple pages of results in the Search Results area, which can be viewed using the page number buttons at the top and bottom of the results list.
You will receive a list of component documents in the search results. A Texas Curriculum Resources (TCR) icon is included to the right of all TCR component titles. TEKS RS component documents that have been shared as part of TCR (including Vertical Alignment Documents and materials for select high school math courses) will display the TEKS RS icon.
The Component Type for each item is indicated on the right side of every row in the search results. The Grade Level and Course (if applicable) are also specified in this area.
Click on the title of any component to view it.
