Authorized individuals can enable access to select options of the Tools section, allowing users within the district to create their own classroom plans and access district-created materials.
Districts can turn access to the District Resources tools on or off through System Management. The default setting for this tool is off.
REQUIRED ROLE: District Content Admin
SITE ACCESS: System Management > Tools Administration
To turn the tool on or off, click on the System Management drop-down in the site's main navigation menu and select the Tools Administration option.
For the District Resources listing, click the toggle button to turn the tool ON or OFF. Take note of the clarifying text below the ON/OFF switch.
When this tool is turned on, users have access to all options within the Tools drop-down menu.
To turn access to District Resources off, click the OFF button.
This means users will be denied access to District Resources and My Content when selecting those options within the Tools drop-down menu.
Additionally, published district content (district IFDs, YAGs, etc.) will be hidden from users' view on the Search All Components page when District Resources is turned off.
