If your district has yet to turn on the Submit for Review feature for IFDs and/or YAGs, please see the IFD & YAG "Submit For Review" Settings support guide.

To review content submitted by users, select the District IFD Review or District YAG Review button, respectively, on the District Content landing page.

Note that the name of the item is displayed in the Title column, the date the item was submitted is in the Submission Date column, and the name of the user that submitted the item is found in the Author column.

Enter the message you would like to send to the author (such as a requested modification to the item) by typing in the Body field.

Click the Send button when you are finished (or click Close to cancel the message). Note that emailing the author of the item will remove the request from the District IFD/YAG Review queue. The author will need to re-submit the item for review (if needed) after making any updates.

To approve the content item and add a copied version of it to the District Content collection (which can be edited, if desired), click the Options button and select Copy to District. Doing so will remove the request from the District IFD/YAG Review queue. Note that any future edits made by the original item author are independent of this new, separate district version. The item will eventually need to be published once you are ready to share it with all district users (see the Making District Content Available to Users support guide).

If you wish to approve and publish the content item immediately, click the Options button and select Copy and Publish. Doing so will add a copied version of the item to the District Content collection and simultaneously publish it for instantaneous access by all basic users throughout the district. This action will also remove the request from the District IFD/YAG Review queue. Again, any future edits made by the original item author are independent of this new, separate district version.

District users can locate published district IFDs and/or YAGs on the Search All Components page (under the TEKS Resource System Components navigation drop-down menu). The View District Content Only filter should be selected, along with any other applicable filter options, before performing the search.
