VIDEO TUTORIAL: Assessment Item Settings
By altering the settings on this page, District Content Administrators can control which assessment items basic users throughout the district have access to within the Assessment Center. Altering the controls within the District Assessment Item Settings table will automatically update all of the subsequent campuses, though District Admins may still customize each campus (if desired).
On the Assessment Access Management page, select the Assessment Item Settings tab.
In the District Assessment Item Settings table, a checked box means the associated category is turned ON, while an unchecked box means it is turned OFF.
For brand new districts, Viewable is set to ON as the default for TEKS RS Formative Items, while the rest of the categories are set to OFF as the default.
TURNING OFF ENTIRE TEKS RS COLLECTION
Turning OFF Viewable for both TEKS RS Unit Assessment Items and TEKS RS Formative Items will lock the TEKS RS collection in the user Assessment Center search view, making it inaccessible.

TURNING OFF BOTH COLLECTIONS
To prevent basic district users from creating an assessment using TEKS RS or District items of any kind, make sure all boxes within the District Assessment Settings table on this page are unchecked. This will lock the TEKS RS and District collections in the user Assessment Center search view, making them both inaccessible.
