In the TEKS RS Assessment Access section of System Management, District Content Administrators are able to designate the Assessment Center features that basic district users should have access to.
REQUIRED ROLE: District Content Admin
SITE ACCESS: System Management > TEKS RS Assessment Access
Accessing Assessment Access
Click on the System Management drop-down in the site's main navigation menu, and select the TEKS RS Assessment Access option.
Assessment Settings vs. Assessment Item Settings
The page has two options containing separate controls. The default selection is the Assessment Settings tab, which contains toggle switches for controlling features specific to assessments (both user-personalized and district-created).
The second option is the Assessment Item Settings tab, which contains toggle switches for controlling features specific to assessment items (both TEKS RS Collection and District Collection).
District-Wide Assessment/Item Settings
On the Assessment Access Management page, there are several options for managing users’ access to assessment and assessment item features. In the District-Wide Assessment Settings and District-Wide Assessment Item Settings tables, a checked box means the associated category is turned ON, while an unchecked box means it is turned OFF. You may customize each campus to have separate settings or use the District-Wide Access/Settings tables, which act as master switches for all campuses.
